Share Custom Ringtones by Bluetooth or Text Message

To Text a Ringtone

  • Open up the Messaging app, tap the + icon on the bottom of the screen to create a new text message
  • Tap the paperclip icon on the bottom of the screen to attach a file to the text message

  • Tap “ringtone”

  • Tap the ringtone you want to share from the list of custom ringtones that are stored on the phone

  • The selected ringtone is attached to text message

Share Ringtone by Bluetooth

  • Open up the Files app (don’t have it installed on the phone? Go get it for your windows phone 8.1 here)
  • Tap the Phone option (assuming the ringtone is stored in the phone’s memory and not stored on a SD card)
  • Tap the Ringtones folder

Share ringtone

  • Press & hold your finger on the Ringtone you want to share via Bluetooth until a menu pops up. Tap the “share” option.
