Sharing videos and pictures with other Bluetooth enabled devices is easy from Windows Phone 8. Videos and pictures that you create on the phone are stored in the camera roll album in the Photos hub on the phone.
Within the camera roll album, tap any video or picture you want to share, then tap the three dots in the lower right hand corner of the screen > share…
Then choose Bluetooth from the SHARE screen. Windows Phone will search for available Bluetooth enabled and discoverable devices and return a “CHOOSE BLUETOOTH DEVICE” screen. Tap the device you want to send the file to.
The phone will display a “Sharing: XX%” status message at the top of the screen. Tapping the Sharing status message (shown in green in the screenshot below) opens up a SHARING screen.
You can cancel the file transfer by long pressing on the Outgoing item and then tapping “cancel” from the popup menu.
TIP: Bluetooth file sharing of media is only available in the Photos hub on Windows Phone 8. You can’t share any media that is stored in the Music+Videos hub. So if you copy non-drm videos from your computer to the Photos hub, copy the videos to the Pictures folder instead of the Videos folder. You’ll see in the screenshot below that I created a Videos folder within the Pictures folder to store any videos that I copy from my computer.
Any folder you create within the Pictures folder shows up as an album with the same name in the Photos hub and any videos stored in the Photos hub can be shared with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
